SHIPS COVID-Safe Procedures
Safety procedures for attending the office
If you have travelled interstate or internationally within the past 14 days; been to any of the Victorian exposure sites in the past 7 days (if you are vaccinated); come into recent contact with anyone diagnosed with COVID-19 or awaiting their test results; or are experiencing any respiratory symptoms such as a cough, sore throat, shortness of breath, fever, loss of sense of taste/smell or any other cold/flu like symptoms, we ask that you do not attend a face-to-face appointment. The same policy applies to all SHIPS staff.
All SHIPS staff and clients are required to be fully vaccinated (and provide proof of vaccination).
You must ‘check-in’ Service Victoria upon arrival.
Face masks must be worn within the clinic at all times by staff and clients.
We will provide hand sanitiser for you to use upon arrival.
To minimise the number of people in the waiting area, we ask that you arrive at the time of
your appointment, rather than arriving early and waiting in reception.
We will remove chairs in the waiting area so there is 1.5 meters between them. If you
arrive and these seats are occupied, please wait in the hallway or near the lift, leaving 1.5
meters distance between other visitors.
We ask that you maintain 1.5 meters distance from people in the office space and your
practitioner.
We clean and disinfect office common surfaces regularly.
Each therapy room is cleaned and disinfected in between client appointments.
