Laura creates an authentic and inclusive space where people feel safe to be themselves.
She prioritises building therapeutic relationships based on mutual trust and humour to ensure rewarding and meaningful sessions.
Laura believes in mental health care that is collaborative, sex positive, and gender affirming. Her approach is person-centred, and strengths-based, with attention to the mind-body connection.
She has a keen interest in attachment theory, social connectedness and normalising the human experience that we all struggle sometimes.
Laura explores the connection between mental and sexual health. She has experience working with people dealing with anxiety, depression, attachment and sexual trauma, sexual pain, intimacy, and relationship difficulties (e.g., managing conflict, trust issues, relationship breakdowns, differences in libido, and communication skills), and those wanting to explore their gender and sexual identity.
In her free time, Laura enjoys pottery, painting, reading, markets and card games.
