Emma is a compassionate and curious therapist who believes that therapy is about reconnection - to yourself, your body, your values, and your sense of aliveness. She works in a client-centred, affirming way that acknowledges the impact of early life experiences and the societal systems we live in. Her sessions are highly collaborative and focus on each client's right to a meaningful life - however that looks for them.
Emma enjoys working with a wide range of concerns. She is particularly interested in supporting clients to explore attachment, identity, and a more compassionate self-view. She has a strong passion for helping neurodivergent clients, particularly autistic folk, to navigate and reclaim pleasure, safety, and connection in a world built for neurotypical people.
Emma's approach is neurodiversity-affirming, queer-inclusive and trauma-informed. She is guided by principles of social justice and is a strong advocate for human rights both in and out of the therapy chair. She is a big believer in transparent client/therapist relationships, in authentic conversations, and that laughter belongs in the therapy room!
