Lesley is a sex positive and LBTIQA+ inclusive psychologist with experience working with clients from a wide range of diverse backgrounds, cultures, sexual orientations, and gender identities. She believes that it is through connection and vulnerability within the self and with others that we can achieve long term transformational change. With this is mind she is passionate about supporting her clients through building a safe and secure therapeutic space where expression, vulnerability and connectedness is nurtured and encouraged. Lesley aims to form strong therapeutic relationships with each client which are underpinned by authenticity, empathy, and openness.

Lesley has experience working in several clinical psychology settings and with varied and complex mental health presentations including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma-related disorders, dissociative disorders, eating disorders and personality disorders. Lesley draws on a number of therapeutic modalities and approaches in order to tailor her treatment to the needs of her clients. Some of these approaches include psychodynamic psychotherapy (PDT), cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioural therapy (DBT) and schema therapy (ST).

Lesley holds a special interest in working in the relationship and attachment space. She works with clients to understand how their early experiences and relational or familial dynamics have shaped how they relate to themselves and others in adulthood. She works to help clients gain and use psychological insight to promote self-compassion, process past experiences and trauma, and shift maladaptive patterns.
